isn't she lovely

Isn't she lovely
Isn't she wonderfull
Isn't she precious
Less than one minute old
I never thought through love we'd be
Making one as lovely as she
But isn't she lovely made from love

Isn't she pretty
Truly the angel's best
Boy, I'm so happy
We have been heaven blessed
I can't believe what God has done
through us he's given life to one
But isn't she lovely made from love

Still pregnant.

Well if you read my last blog entry. I noted that I going to go "enjoy some quiet time," since Isabella was asleep and Parker was out playing and I was caught up on everything.
So you want to know what happened?
I tiptoed into Bobby and I's bedroom to check on the little babe who I let nap on our bed, when I smelled this awful diarrhea smell. I went over to the bed and Isabella was sleeping in a pool of diarrhea that had spilled out of the top of her diapers on to our sheets down into the mattress.
Oh Sh*t is right.
I swooped her up and held her at arms reach length out and took into the bathroom turned on the bath water, and stripped her down, and placed her in the tub. Poor girl was still waking up and didn't know what was going on. So no resting for me, I had to clean a big mess on our bed, and save our mattress, with Resolve this mattress and upholstery cleaner and wash everything, desanitize the bathroom and yadayadayada.....................Luckily it was on my side of the bed, men don't seem to deal well with baby poop.

Oh yeah, still no baby. I like it when people ask me when I'm due and I say tomorrow.
I had two people ask today. If there were no doctors I would probably still be pregnant with Isabella.

Well today I went to the Dr.'s I've only dilated a half a centimeter. so I'm 1.5cm dilated. I only dilated half a centimeter after having my membranes stripped. So I had them stripped again and scheduled an inducing due date: 10/22/07 at 7:00 am.
I really think I am one of those women who would naturally carry their unborn child an extra month. Then deliver 10lb babies, Yikes! I was kinda hoping he would send me to the hospital today, but am a little relived because one of my favorite t.v shows is on tonight. Kitchen nightmares, with chef Ramsey.
The nice thing though is since I thought there might be a possible chance I go into labor, I did all the laundry and dishes and this morning. I mean all the laundry, and Isabella is napping and Parker is playing so I think I will take advantage of this quite time.
Oh also, our camera broke, our nice one. The funny thing is, it broke right before we had Isabella so we bought this little camera in the meantime while the other one was being fixed, which I'm glad we did, because at least we have that, but still arrgggg..................such is life.

It's been raining a lot here lately, but Isabella doesn't seem to mind.

Mmmm....red velvet cupcakes. What a mess!

I didn't know if I should post this or not, but it's pretty funny.

update

I did have my membranes stripped yesterday. I thought it was really going to hurt, but it wasn't that bad, must be my high tolerance for pain ;)
So I'm waiting. I think I'll go for a walk this evening, the Dr. said that might help. But I realize I must be patient too. I'm not exactly at 40 weeks, turns out I'm really due the 19th, my little ticker up above thinks I'm due the 16th (I'll fix it). She'll come when she's ready. I really don't want to go past 40 weeks though, I remember how much more uncomfortable I was.
Last night I had a dream I worked in a pastry shop, and was being tempted by all these sweets and every time I looked at my reflection in the pastry window case, I would look fatter, and my butt was huge! And for some reason I was wearing these ugly light blue polyester capri's with a bleach mark on the butt, with this over sized dark blue shirt, and I had this huge double chin.
Oh vay, thank goodness it was a dream.

Waiting for baby

Today I go to the Dr. to determine what's going to happen. Part of me says, "Do whatever to get the baby out." The other part, says, "Wow, I haven't done laundry in 5 days and it's all on the couch waiting for me, and I don't have the cosleeper set up, the floors are dirty again."
But then it's time like these that make me think of the women that have gone before us. Women that lived with no electricity and no tv's and cozy warm beds, risked the chance of dying during child birth, made their own bread and hand washed their own families cloths, then I think, "Okay I'm ready and to quite complaining." Alrighty, maybe I can get all that laundry folded before my appointment.

Nesting

Today I woke up and took Isabella over to my parents so I could clean, this house.
And that is what I did all day, scrubbed sinks, cleaned all the floors, organized closets, cleaned windows and yucky window sills, organized stacks of papers and had Bobby hang up hooks and do other manly things for me when her got home. Now all I have to do is clean our room and re clean the area where Isabella just ate, even though I have put sheets under her highchair, she manages to throw her food far enough to just miss the sheets.
Maybe once all this is done the baby will come.
I thought of a little poem today right before I reached for a cookie:

Sweetness, why do I crave you so bad?
Your terrible I know.
When all you do is make my belly grow.

Okay I think my time is up, Isabella is asking for a more cookies, but there is no more, so fear a tantrum coming on, yep here it is. Must go.

No baby yet, no signs she coming anytime soon. I really wanted to experience her coming as a surprise on her time. I meet with the Dr. tomorrow, he mentioned last week we could talk about speeding up the processes. I am totally fine with this, but on the other hand wished it was a surprise. Well we'll see, pray she comes out soon.
