baptism and photo shoots

Parker's baptism was so sweet. He was so proud and happy and Bobby and I were even more proud, it was hard not to cry. Now the family feels complete.

I love this picture. Aunt Mary made the apron.

I am still here, just busy with life. The new addition and baptisms.
Parker's baptism was so beautiful. When he answered the questions Father Richard asked him from the baptismal book, it was so amazing to hear and see a child respond. wish i could write more but a baby is rooting and crying in my other arm.

Totus Tuus

I found this on a another ladies blog and thought it was beautiful. I would print it but our printer isn't working so I'm posting on the side and am going to try and say everyday.

Totus Tuus

Immaculate conception, Mary, my Mother. Live in me. Act in me. Speak in and through me. Think your thoughts in my mind. Love, through my heart. Give me your dispositions and feelings. Teach, lead and guide me to Jesus. Correct, enlighten and expand my thoughts and behavior. Possess my soul. Take over my entire personality and life. Replace it with yourself. Incline me to constant adoration and thanksgiving. Pray in me and through me. Let me live in you and keep me in this union always.

snow forts, clamato, and rolling over

I open the refrigerator and this what I saw. I guess I really am a true Mexican.

The famous snow fort. It's going to be in the News paper tomorrow and on the news tonight.

SOOOOOO CUTE!

For better of worse

Today it snowed, it snowed a lot. So much we were unable to make it to mass at 5:30. Mass actually ended up being canceled. It probably snowed 6 inches on our side of town, it was unbelievable.
Now for the venting. Being married is one of the best things but with good times comes bad times (for better or worse). In our case it seems to be that after having a new baby we tend to fight a bit more in the first few months. It's so much easier for the husband to be able to come and go as he pleases with no real planning of child care. I'm not going to go into why I'm frustrated, but just want to vent and know that someone understands me. Thats the thing too, husbands don't understand what you go through in a day and what sacrifices you make, which makes it so much more frustrating and the thing is they never will understand. Bobby thinks just because I'm a woman it's easier for me that I was born with patience. I told him patience is something we are not born with but have to learn. I think the hardest thing about being a mom is you feel unappreciated a lot of the time, but realizing this only makes me appreciate my mom 100 times more.
O kay I feel a little bit better.
