Just a little venting

I forgot how when you become noticeably pregnant, people pretty much only want to talk you about your pregnancy and make all sorts of comments, nice ones, rude ones etc........

This weekend we dropped Parker off at camp and ran into a couple other parents we know.
Here's how one conversation went:

man: Hey Lisa!

me: Oh hi, how are you?

man:
Fine, what's your boys name?

me: Parker

man:
When are you due?

me: October 16,

man:
Wow! Your gonna be HUGE!

me: (no comment, pause).............Well see ya ladda.

I could have had plenty of come backs because this guy is not on the petite side, so he had no room to talk.
When I was pregnant with Isabella I once had a coffee customer, tell me I was getting fat, as a joke, I haven't spoken to him since.
Their should be a billboard, of rules to remind non pregnant people what you can and cannot say to irritated pregnant ladies.

Here's a few I've come up with myself:

Never say she is huge, or going to be huge.
Do not use the word Fat anywhere around her.
Do not tell her, her face looks fuller.
Do not say WHOAAA! When she turns around.
Do not say Yikes! When you find out her weight and then play it off that you were commenting on something else.

So True! Why would you ever say that to a pregnant lady. I know who your talking about and I think his tummy is bigger than yours. You should make some "joke" ... poke their belly and say "when are you do?"

That is just awful. Honestly, I'd like to give these people a real "talking to" for you. What jerks. Those things should be common sense.
