When I went to bed last night (before Bobby and Isabella) the dishes were done, the house was clean, toys were put away. When I awoke for my, "before the break of dawn" aerobics class, I came down stairs and was instantly mad. Pots and pans in the sink, toys and blankets scattered everywhere. Arrrrghhhhhh! I said. Then left for my class.
I remember when I worked at Starbucks there was this quote posted in the back room, by the computer where you would punch in. " If not now then when? If not you then who?"
I have the answer to that question, it is the Mother that is who.
Maybe I'll go on strike, like that one mom did awhile ago, she lived in her front yard in a tent with some books, doesn't sound to bad, but it's freezing outside.

Arrgh, I would be furious! I've gone on strike before, but nobody noticed. I finally gave in, but by then even more crap had stacked up on top of the original mess, so really nobody learned a lesson but me. I guess the lesson was...don't wait because it will only get WORSE. I feel for ya, though. I am annoyed for you.
I like that quote.
