Yesterday was mother's day and we had a wonderful day. We went on a hike around the river and saw beautiful wild flowers and let the girls run themselves ragged. We stopped and had a picnic of wine and cheese and ended the day with hamburgers at my mother in laws house. I must have been pretty tired, because I started falling asleep at 8:00.
Parker made me the sweetest card, that it brought me to tears. I'll scan it and post it latter.

Mommy's little helper. Isabella loves to bake with me. As of this morning, she helped scramble eggs for the first time. We have matching aprons (thank you mom) and she thinks it's so great that we "Match" . It always makes daily chores a little more enjoyable when you have a little helper who is so excited just to help and doesn't make to much of a mess anymore.

That curl is all natural.

Maddie is sucking the milk out of a coconut, she loved it!

Cute dress on Madeleine! Did you happen to get it at Gymboree? Louisa has a similiar one. I am so glad I had a girl first - dressing little girls is such a treat!

Kayleen, my mom actually picked up the dress at a thrift store. I'm not sure what brand it is.
Oh, it is such a treat to dress girls! I have to watch myself when I go shopping I always head towards the baby girl section first and spend way to much money. They have way to many clothes!
